I’m still pulling for the McLaren, and would buy another if we find a way to tame the beast. Maybe some gear changes or even a motor and gear transplant. I would not be surprised if this turns out to be a series with modifications allowed.
Some research shows that 1997 Le Mans had a real large variety of GT cars. Slot.it has a Nissan R390 GT1 that looks pretty sporty. Avant has the Lotus Elise GT. I would not mind disqualifying metal chassis cars like the RevoSlot Porsche GT2.
My Ferrari F40 runs much better since I replaced the 32 tooth gear with a 33 tooth. (thank you David).
