A place for us to propose and discuss potential series for the 2025 season.
I have mentioned this to Randy, but might as well open it up to wider discussion. 1:32 B Sedan / Trans Am U2 on the main track
This could use the Revoslot GRP 2 cars we ran on the rally track previously. Many of us have these cars already, and I’m sure many are eager to try out the Revo 510s in competition. It could be a mostly spec series, or we could open it up to allow for more possibilities.
What do Y’all think?

The U2 TransAm and SCCA BSedan races were great. One thing I like are the RevoSlot chassis, but there is not a "Class spoiler" Porsche 911 in RevoSlot. John and David have very good other 911's and I have parts for a IMSA CProd Porsche in Canadian Ludwig Heimrath BFGoodrich livery. I don't know if the non-Revos could be made competitive.
My other favorite from prior years is the Thunderslot CanAm class. I loved the real cars and the 1/32's.
I do not have a preference yet for a rally series or two.

Precautionary Tale. Shapeway and Olifer not longer are in business of making 3D chassis. The potential 66-70 Trans Am Mustang, Camaro, Barracuda race is not viable at this time unless we go way-back to stock Scalextric chassis. Many Fly and other slot cars no longer have 3D chassis available. I don't know how our group B rally cars can be duplicated if using 3D chassis. Sloting plus makes some for Scalextric under the PCR brand.
If we were to go for a fairly wide slice of time, say from 1966 to 1972, that would give us a wide variety of cars to chose from, including cars many of us already have, including the Slot.it Ford Gt40 and Chaparral, Policar Ferrari 330P3, NSR Porsche 908.
Among other entrants are:
Porsche 911
Ferrari 312PB
Alfa Romeo 33/3
Porsche 907

Guys - I think we need to limit the time range to a smaller number of years. The NSR 908/3 is a game changer and will be the only car in the field as it has the best performance. I would suggest a pre-70's race. Maybe '66 to '69 That would rule out the NSR 908/3 but leave it open for a ton of other great cars.
The Ferrari won and the race report suggests the Ferrari was easier to drive. I remember some people switched from Porsche to Ferrari. This was one of my favorite rally series.
Randy - the Porsche 908 that ran in 1969 was the older version and not the 908/3 that NSR makes. The 908 in 1969 was the first version of the car.
Correct. These cars are good performers with a 3D chassis. The trick now is finding a 3D chassis with Shapeways closed.

The second is similar to the first in that it would be a spec series. But this time with Porsche 991.2 cars from ScaleAuto. Again, a lot of cars available as well as decals for custom liveries. There are even a set of ScaleAuto Cup Edition liveries if we wanted to revive the El Piloto series for next year.

I like a NSR Porsche 911 series - whether that is on the big track or the rally track. I have three cars already and could provide cars to others. Plus, most everyone has NSR parts they can use on these cars. I see this series as a spec series. I like running these cars on the rally track as a good spec series for this track.
I would like to run the BRM GT40's. These are very similar to the Group 2 cars.
Group C
TTS March F2 spec series
BRM Classic race - Porsche 917, Ferrari 512, Alfa T33 on the big track
Hypercar - Scaleauto, SRC, and Slot.it = Porsche vs Toyota vs Acura
FLY Trucks - they are much more fun than you realize
RevoSlot GT1 - Toyota GT1, Mercedes CLK, McLaren F1 GTR, Porsche GT1. This could also be run as a Toyota GT1 spec race as there are numerous liverys and solid color choices
I like these cars and classes we have run. I have plenty without adding new classes but might add a new 1/32 car.
SlotIt Group C
Ferrari 312, Porsche 908/3, Abarth2002 Targa Florio 2021 series
Racer Sideways Grp. 5 Capri and others from covid proxy year
RevoSlot 1/32 Trans am Alfa GTA
ThunderSlot Lola T70 and McLaren Elva Mk.1 early CanAm
NSR Formula 22
RevoSlot GT2 911
NSR 917/10K for rally or big track
NSR Formula 86/89
CanAm SlotIt McLaren M8D
NSR Porsche 917/10K (rally tested)
NSR Corvette C7.R and other in that class
ABARTH S2000 and Abarth 500 NSR rally not so much
I like your thinking David, at least 3 out of four times.
We need to specify the options for the classes. For instance: The Scaleauto Peugeot 208 has two different chassis and maybe different tires for different cars. We would also need to specify if the AWD system must be used.
Some other classes might have a car listed on Pendle or Electric Dreams that we will not allow in the ASCC class like the Ferrari 308 we excluded from the rally this year.
Mosler seems to have a version with an ultra light weight body, in addition to the regular car.
