BRM Series Motor?

The current rules don't spec which motor we are allowing for the BRM series. Did we decide on Pink/Purple or Red can?

By limiting the BRM series to pink motors only, we may be eliminating competitors before the series starts. I know for a fact Clark has a pink motor, but Priscilla has only the red motor.


Since the BRM series is a "sprint" compared to our LeMans endurance race, I feel red motors should be allowed along with pinks for our series. Motor longevity should not be an issue with this format of racing.

You bring up a good point. I wanted to stick to the pink motor because the braking characteristics are so much better and their performance does not fade so much in a five minute heat. Honestly I don’t care if someone wants to run a red motor other than the fact there is no way they will be competitive.


I have a couple of new pink motors if anyone would like to put one in before the race on Saturday or earlier.
