The race data from 2011 has been crunched and the results tallied in order to identify our fastest lap of the year in a series and most improved driver.
Congratulations to Jim J. for earning the title of Most Improved Driver of 2011. Jim steadily worked his way up the leader boards in the second half of the year, tweaking and tuning his cars and driving techniques to the point where he secured victory in the 2011 GT Unlimited Series. Over the course of the year Jim saw his average lap time in all series drop by .952 seconds! An impressive feat by any standard! Way to go Jim!
Contratulations also goes out to Roy M. for turning the quickest time around the track in 2011. Roy turned the quickest lap in Round 5 of the GT series running an ex El Piloto Slot.it McLaren F1 GT-R. It was a victory by the narrowest of margins: only .009 seconds ahead of Ary B. and only .024 seconds separating the top 3 fastest laps!
