Rounds two and three of the Revoslot Toyota GT One competition had many drivers starting to find the sweet spot with their cars, while others are still looking for the winning formula. David C. brought the heat in round 3 after struggling with tires and braking in the earlier races, leading the field by over 3 laps, ultimately climbing the leader board by 3 positions. Marc T. made a strong showing after missing the first round, but Mel was there to answer the challenge in total lap count. Brian had to enter a new chassis under his Iron Man livery due to a manufacturing issue with the original that had the rear axle out of alignment when the screws where fully tightened, which I’m sure contributed to the significant drop in the number of laps.
While Marty M. continues to extend his overall lead in points, second and third place are separated by only two points overall for those with three starts, and if you factor out the number of starts, the order is far from decided as we enter the second half of the series.
