Better guide (pickup) for a regular SCX?

I'm pretty tired of the regular guide on the scx cars.... Can you use a SCX PRO guide on the regular scx cars? Is there any other alternative?

You can fit a digital guide to the analog cars, which is a little thicker, and in my opinion more stable, but that's about it.

Ary,

Not easy way to do this. I had the guide system on the SCX cars. They are actually worse than the Scalextric cars and I didn't think that was possible. I looked at doing this on a proxy rally car and abandoned the idea due to the amount of work needed to convert the guide. Don't like that car that much to invest the time.
