The summer heat continues with a smaller field for the fifth Stage of out Targa Florio 1970-’73 series.
Marty M found his footing with his NSR 980/3 and tore the place up with 259.39 seconds total time for 40 laps. Many seconds behind, Marc T. piloted his NSR Porsche to a 270.5 total time. Mark L, relatively new to the club, but very skillful on the rally track turned in a 277.76 second time with his NSR Lola.
Randy A turned in a respectable 281.9 with his Lola, followed by John B: NSR Porsche. Brian H: slot.it Alfa Tipo 33, and Kim D. with a Revoslot Ford Escort.
Only one event remains in the series before our Fall series with the NSR 86-89 open wheel cars begins.
