2026 NSR Fiat Abarth 500 Rally – Final Results

The final stage of the 2026 NSR Fiat Abarth 500 Rally ran last Saturday, June 20.  Track conditions were challenging with ambient temp in the building in the low 80’s, with humidity to match.  The Rally track surface temperature was over 86 deg F. The contributed to some interesting behavior with the little Fiats grabbing the track surface a bit better than desired in the hairpins, making for an above average number of de-slots for many drivers.

That didn’t stop two drivers from turning in impressive performances for the day.  Jeff S. turned in a strong second place and ultimately set the series lap record of 6.683, edging out David’s previous series fast lap by 0.004 seconds!

Mel was one of the drivers struggling with a bit too much grip, preventing him from challenging David for the top step on the podium.  As it turned out, the track conditions seemed to favor David this weekend, as he turned in his best stage of the series at 280.198 seconds.  Over 4 seconds faster than his previous best! Marc T. achieved the third step on the podium, largely credited to his steady performance in stages 3, 4, and 5.

Congratulations to our race winners!

One other special mention goes out to Mark L., who finished 4th in his first outing on the rally track.  Very well done Mark!

The final results are on the leaderboard below.  For the uninitiated, we include 5 stages in the final scoring, so any driver with 6 starts gets to drop their worst stage.  Drivers who did not complete at least 5 stages are not ranked.

We are back on the Rally Track in Q3 and Q4 with our Targa Florio ’70-’73 rally race and, by coin flip, our NSR Porsche 997 Challenge.
